Description

The Principal BTP Consultant is responsible for implementing and driving the design of BTP-based solutions that meet our clients' business requirements.  This person has a strong technical background in SAP technologies and comprehensive experience working with BTP and serves as a leader to the client, and a mentor to other Rizing Consultants. #REMOTE #LI-JH1

 

This is a remote role that can be based anywhere within the US or Canada.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as a team leader or supervisor analyzing client’s business and technical requirements in order to deliver successful implementation.
  • Contribute to architecture design workshops and assist with the design of state-of-the-art architecture for SAP applications on SAP BTP Cloud.
  • Leads initial process to capture business requirements, system design, recommendations and prototyping including potential solution options.
  • Completes project planning and scoping activities to ensure successful implementation including projecting costs and deliverables, resource planning and utilization, and change management.
  • Directs go-live and cutover activities pertinent to their area of delivery.
  • Support BD and LOB's as required, to provide expertise input for RFQ and SOW.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in using Agile and DevOps methodologies with SAP BTP implementations.
  • Understand best practice usage of SAP BTP services in alignment with SAP's guidelines.
  • Actively follow SAP BTP trends and changes in processes, tools and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 10 years SAP implementation experience comprising at least 3 years configuration experience including requirements gathering, system design, training, and change management.
  • 3 years of experience in solution delivery.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, with the ability to implement resolutions.
  • Ability to establish and manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to attentively listen and effectively communicate in oral and written format with clients.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50%.

Desired Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP technologies and services).
  • Experienced in driving BTP-related topics (developments, guidelines, etc.) in a DevOps and/or agile environment.
  • SAP Certification.
