Description
The Senior Consultant plays a key role on the project team; either by running small projects, Integrating
portions of a large project, or being a team member on a project, driving the analysis, process finalisation,
resolving process and technical issues. The Senior Consultant performs the role of a Team Leader and ensures
high quality service and high client satisfaction. The Senior Consultant will be involved in preparing the detailed
level plan for their functional area. The Senior Consultant will also assist in business development activities by
providing proposal inputs.
Essential Functions
- Analyzing client’s business processes and SAP AFS solution design
- Performing configuration and assists clients in test cycles
- Assist the client in SAP AFS knowledge transfer
- Maintain and expand client’s contact at high levels and is viewed as the trusted advisor to the customer
- Participating in pre-sales engagements – demonstrated ability to connect with customers when discussing best practices and SAP funcitonality
- More than one engagement at a time and take responsibility for that area
- Small engagements or a portion of a large engagement
- Assigned areas while overseeing all project activities leading to implementation of requirements
- Process Design Workshops, provide direction to consultants and configure the SAP system in order to demonstrate & gain acceptance by the client
- Deployment of consultants in the technical preparation of Business Process Procedures, Test Scenarios, End User Documentation, and User Manuals
- Using appropriate implementation methodology and tools in a project
- Leading the execution of assigned project tasks in the areas of demonstrated competence which includes facilitating meeting

- Using experience in substantiating proposed solutions to the clients
- Using experience to coach and mentor Junior Consultants
- Going beyond job role to help team members succeed
- Interviewing candidates for positions in the company
- Propagates attune culture into the organization
- Continuously develop SAP core skills, IS-specific skills and cross-functional expertise and business knowledge based on accumulated experience, and is able to identify new business opportunities
- Assist in the development and implementation of the project plan. (Scope, deliverables, timelines and resources) This incudes drafting members, and preparing & assisting in the preparation of individual work plans
- Perform any additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when required by the management
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years prior work experience in SAP functional role and industry knowledge
- Lateral knowledge of all complementary modules and deep understanding in one module (with the ability to be deployable in a second module – technical & functional knowledge)
- Demonstrated ability and track record:
- of designing solutions that integrate with all other modules.
- of designing scalable solutions with zero-fault rate in terms of functionality
- of continuously learning new technology that is used on customer engagements
- General degree or recognized professional qualifications
- SAP certification in at least one module
- Excellent communication, ability to work in teams and interpersonal skills are essential
- Leadership capabilities, result orientation, conceptual thinking, and innovative mindset
- Information Security Proficiency Required
Work Environment and Special Consideration
• Willingness to travel both domestic and international
