Technical Support Associate

The Technical Support Associate will work across Enterprise Systems and Global IT Service Team, consultants, and employees to fully understand the problems, and generic troubleshooting to solve for rapid resolution. This position combines technical acumen with analysis skills to deliver the highest level of problem resolution. The incumbent should be able to work independently to work on assigned tickets/tasks delivering new applications as well as to enhance existing applications based on business requirements or functional specifications. Produce technical, unit tests, and other documentation as per IT standard delivery methodology.
Essential Functions:
• Understanding of business requirements and functional specifications to deliver technical solutions to address the requirements.
• Develops technical specifications with a comprehensive unit testing plan.
• Executes unit test plan to ensure desired functionalities are working as expected.
• Performs low to medium-complexity troubleshooting and analysis to resolve application issues.
• Creates presentations and other training materials as required for knowledge transfer to support the team.
• Works cooperatively with other technical team members in the design, delivery, and support of solutions.
• Perform back-end administrative tasks.
• Document knowledge articles.
• Escalate system bugs and defects.
• Update tickets to provide accurate and current documentation of issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline; or equivalent experience may be substituted for a degree.
• 1-3 years of experience in support-related roles.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms.
Desired Qualifications:
• Desire to learn new software tools and applications.
• ITIL certification.
• Exposure to any of the following technologies: O365, SAP Systems: S/4 HANA, C4C, Concur, SuccessFactors.

• Experience designing and troubleshooting various IT solutions.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects, prioritize, and delegate as needed.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
Work Environment and Special Conditions:
• Works in a professional office and/or remote office environment.
• Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, monitors, phones, and headsets.
• Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.
• Routinely storing, lifting, packaging, and shipping hardware.
• Willing to support US working hours (prefer someone to work on Eastern time zone).
