The Senior Director of Strategic Industries is a Senior Leadership role responsible for building market position through managing, locating, and developing business relationships. Responsible for growing existing strategic accounts and supporting service delivery to Strategic Industry customers. Directs the activities of Strategic Industries Directors.

Essential Functions
  • Leverages industry knowledge and implementation expertise to ensure the delivery of all activities to strategic industry accounts.
  • Maintains responsibility for growing the strategic industry accounts.
  • Markets and promotes strategic initiatives through collaboration within the Strategic Industry Team and with cross-functional departments.
  • Serves as the Account Executive to manage the sales cycle.
  • Engages a competent Strategic Industries Team through continuous mentorship and strategic coaching of the Strategic Industries Directors throughout the sales and delivery process.
  • Fosters team collaboration through interactive leadership of the Strategic Industries Directors to meet group sales quotas.
  • Builds pre-sales assets and conducts pre-sales activities to support account planning.
  • Conducts pipeline reviews on a scheduled basis.
  • Maintains internal tools, systems, and registers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions (Continued)
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field; minimum 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Minimum 7 years of HRIS Solution Implementation experience, such as SuccessFactors modules or SAP solutions, throughout the full implementation lifecycle.
  • Previous Project Management or Delivery Executive responsibility within the Professional Services industry, including experience with bid management, project scoping and sizing.
  • Sales experience with a demonstrated success in meeting sales goals and managing sales cycles.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification in 1 or more SuccessFactors modules or SAP Software.
  • Certification in Project Management, such as PMP or Prince2.
  • Experience in retail/wholesale, financial services, or the utilities industries.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KBAs)
  • Expert in HRIS Solution Architecture.
  • Expert in SAP SuccessFactors platform, with implementation lifecycle experience.
  • Proven performance in Strategic Sales and Sales Management, with the ability to achieve individual and team sales quotas.
  • Ability to evaluate and sell to customers’ needs, through the execution of dynamic prospecting and closing.
  • Able to assemble, lead, motivate, mentor, and retain high-performing sales and delivery teams.
  • Can work well independently with limited supervision.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills, with a solutions oriented attitude and the ability to produce results.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and to clearly articulate with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Strong background of HRIS Consulting and Project Management skills, with a mastery in Strategic Industry domain.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Proven history of influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues. 
  • Time management skills with the ability to function both strategically and tactically.
