Description
Rizing EAM uses a hybrid sales & business development model that combines subject matter expertise, account ownership and billable capacity. Aside from business development, this individual will specialize in service delivery, program management and market intelligence by selling Rizing’s SAP EAM services and software solutions to Oil & Gas clients within the US & Canada. The Director of Business Development builds market position by leveraging Oil & Gas industry knowledge and implementation experience in locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships within this geographical region. #LI-JH1
Essential Functions
- Drives new business development while capitalizing on opportunities to expand current accounts.
- Builds strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Identifies key factors that influence the viability of different solutions; clarifies information to solve problems.
- Participates in the negotiation of major contracts.
- Performs Account Management for some key accounts.
- Provides market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generates product development ideas.
- Takes ownership of the management of the sales and marketing functions of the business.
- Coordinates and manage conferences and events and presents a professional company image.
- Liaises and coordinates with conference organizers for events such as round tables discussion, conferences, industry group meetings, etc.
- Drives increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company’s growth ambitions.
- Participates in industry-specific conferences, training, and meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience implementing SAP best practices, industry standards and Enterprise Asset Management.
- 3-5 years of experience specific to an industry and within the SAP space.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Technology, Business or Marketing or industry equivalent experience.
- Strong business knowledge in combination with SAP Enterprise Asset Management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; including proven relationship building and listening skills.
- Strong record of prospecting and sales success by adapting to customer needs and meeting sales goals.
- Entrepreneurial skills and market-oriented.

- Open to 80% post-pandemic travel.
Desired Qualifications
- Additional post-graduate business education or MBA.
- SAP Functional Training or Certification.
Work Environment and Special Consideration
- Extensive travel required which may include traveling across borders of other countries.

- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and scanners.
