HRIS Administrator, SuccessFactors

The HRIS Administrator serves as a subject matter expert for SuccessFactors HCM and is responsible for maintaining and monitoring HRIS applications and modules. This individual will make improvements to existing processes and will serve as a subject matter expert for SF HCM, ensuring adherence to project schedules. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for the company’s HR Business Partners and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, while also completing upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as necessary.

Essential Functions

  • Serves as System Administrator for all internal HR Systems (SuccessFactors, ATS etc.).
  • Develops and leads projects revolving around all HR systems, including HRIS and ATS; continually seeking ways to improve processes and procedures.
  • Establishes, revises and maintains procedures for updating, validating, and correcting employee records or other related HR data.
  • Acts as HRIS “Super User” and is responsible for configuring data workflow including access permissions, work groups, approval paths, business rules, and activity configuration.
  • Administers training for HRIS systems and software and serves as the point of contact for system inquiries/support.
  • Identifies items for automation and develops the necessary processes and tools required.
  • Maintains system integrity by conducting routine audits of assigned modules/systems.
  • Ensures SuccessFactors HR database is up to date, accurate, and complies with relevant legislation.
  • Understands integration to other modules and assesses impacts and timing of business functionality and data changes to applicable business applications ensuring optimal impact.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a Computer Sciences or Human Resources field, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of HRIS administration experience and system administration knowledge and experience across multiple Success Factors modules.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into easy to understand presentations.
  • HRIS “Super User” and reporting experience (SAP / SuccessFactors a plus!).
  • SuccessFactors Employee Central Associate Certification.

Desired Qualifications

  • ADP, SAP, Success Factors including Employee Central, SharePoint, and experience preferred.
  • SuccessFactors Associate Certification in additional modules.
  • Experience in supporting and troubleshooting issues with SuccessFactors.
  • Skills in reviewing detailed data, spotting anomalies and identifying solutions.
  • Excellent communicator and ability to build strong rapport with stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Day-to-day system maintenance, interfaces, system integrity and improvements.
  • Ability to work with the individual Module Administrators to ensure a smooth support model is in place.
  • Awareness of key human resources functions including organization management, personnel administration, recruiting, performance management, employee development, compensation, and succession planning.
  • Awareness of HR, HR system, HR processes, and the integration of technology.
  • Ability to organize and manage time.
  • Ability to analyze data.
  • Ability to work independently.
