Description
Global role working with Wipro SAP’s three LoB’s (EAM, Organic&HCM, Consumer Industries) to drive strategic initiatives in emerging technologies and products. The role holder must possess a blend of strategic, business, technical, and product management skills to ensure Wipro keeps pace with SAP emerging technologies and products, and provide direction for internal solution development. The role holder will be required to collaborate closely with internal cross functional teams, develop and assimilate content, lead business development efforts, and build strategic partnerships. Overall goal is to lead emerging SAP solutions from the selection process to a monetized solution in one of the LoB.
Essential Functions
Strategic Planning
- Support market research across LoB to identify opportunities and help direct the company growth strategy in their respective portfolio
- Provide input into budget and planning process and execution of annual Emerging Solutions plans
- Identify strategic partnerships with both internal entities and external service/software firms
- Create business case for solutions in the designated portfolio, sign-off is required from the Head of the LoB
- Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of the assigned portfolio.
- Ensure alignment of initiatives with Wipro’s business objectives and goals.
- Create at least one POC a year:
- Extensiveness of POC is determined by available resources to support the build. IF resources are not available, the POC can take the form of a written use case.
- POC can be in a demo environment or customer environment
- Publish point of view document on a leading topic, internal or external, at least 2 per year
Business Development
- Lead and execute GTM strategy/plan that incorporates positioning and product/solution approach.
- Coordinate and deliver external marketing events (webinars, podcasts, SAP events, industry events etc.) to drive demand generation
- Leverage and grow SAP partnership, includes GTM collaboration.
- Lead and support BD in the assigned innovation topic throughout the sales cycle, includes positioning, presentations, demos, and RFPs.
- Support Marketing in branding and messaging, includes campaign and blog creation.

Professional Services / Internal Operations – %
- Support Operations team with internal education pertaining to strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate the implementation of new products/solutions in the demonstration environment.
- Support Professional Services in new solution implementations, assessments, and QA.
