Description

The Senior Developer Interfaces with developers as well as BD and customers to design, develop, test, document, and maintain new and existing SAP-related software products. Collaborates with Consultants, Vendors, Customers, and Product Owners to develop new ideas and features. Serves as Rizing product development expert with knowledge in specific technical areas.

Essential Functions

  • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved
  • Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates in relation to customer experience
  • Functions as technical expert in specific areas developing new software and modifying existing SAP software.
  • Expert in implementing Rizing products for customers
  • Consult with customers during implementations
  • Troubleshoots system issues.
  • Generates technical documentation of new or modified software procedures.
  • Creates cost estimates for changes and new development.
  • Support sustainment team in troubleshooting and resolution of issues or defects as required
  • Designs and updates software databases.
  • Proposes new techniques and technologies for software development.
  • Manages development operations.
  • Supports security compliance.
  • Adheres to software development standards and best practices, using an Agile project methodology.
  • Performs code reviews and recommends improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • 6 years’ of Professional Developer experience with demonstrated experience in SAP platforms and technologies (SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud Analytics, SAPUI5, ABAP) and other technologies (Java, C#, HTML, CSS and JavaScript).
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related relevant field.

  • Expert technical knowledge of Software Development and Software Engineering principles.
  • Expert knowledge of SAP platforms and technologies (SAP BTP, SAP CAP, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud Analytics, SAPUI5, ABAP) and other technologies (Java, C#, HTML, CSS and JavaScript).
  • Expert knowledge of the Software industry; tools, concepts, etc. available today that can be applied to Research and Development.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP Solutions, in particular SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors products.
  • Ability to attentively listen and effectively communicate in oral and written format, with Clients and Consultants to include effectively articulating ideas and processes.
  • Ability to assess and assist Clients with existing systems and optimize their solutions using existing knowledge of system functionality and best practice recommendations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a virtual project team.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to think in abstracts and logically, diligently asking probing questions and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas to conceptualize new approaches and solutions.
  • Ability to creatively analyze and solve complex problems, with the ability to implement resolutions.
  • Ability to establish and manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
