Rizing, a Wipro company, provides a range of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Geospatial consulting services that help our customers deliver measurable business results by building solid business practices that are enabled by technology solutions from SAP and Esri. Rizing EAM uses a hybrid Sales & Business Development model which combines subject matter expertise, account ownership, and billable capability. Aside from business development, this individual will specialize in service delivery & program management, and market intelligence by selling Rizing’s SAP EAM services and software solutions to clients located in the United States & Canada. #LI-JH1 #LI-REMOTE
This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the US or Canada.
Essential Functions
- Defines the business development strategy for industries of focus identifying prospective clients and key contacts across the industry.
- Fosters relationships with those prospective clients while identifying opportunities that bring value to the client through services and solutions provided by Rizing EAM.
- Focuses on expanding work with existing clients while prospecting new clients. Drives innovation and initiatives to potentially evaluate the build of additional solutions.
- Functions as an individual contributor defining business development strategy and fostering relationships with prospective clients and identifying additional opportunities with existing clients.
- Works with implementation teams to ensure the delivery of services and solutions meets the needs of the client and is in alignment with the deliverables promised.
- Establishes good working relationships with SAP account executives and other key partners to foster an ongoing relationship with clients while identifying growth opportunities.
- Works with Professional Services to develop statements of work to align services with roles and pricing.
- Attends industry trade shows including speaking engagements, in order to connect with prospective clients, initiate relationship building, and set follow up meetings/interactions, demonstrations of solutions, etc.
- Researches industry focus and areas of investment in order to manage the pipeline of opportunities.
Essential Functions (Continued)
- Provides industry-specific input for internal initiatives and development of the annual budget.
- May function as a project leader.
- Completes continuing education activities to attain and maintain professional certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Management or related discipline with formal Business Development education or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development and sales of professional services to include experience implementing and using SAP Enterprise Asset Management.
- Strong business knowledge in combination with SAP Enterprise Asset Management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; including proven relationship building and listening skills.
- Entrepreneurial skills and market-oriented.
- Strong record of prospecting and sales success by adapting to customer needs and meeting sales goals.
- Energetic team player with drive and passion for developing our business.
- Open to 25-50% travel.
Desired Qualifications
- Additional post-graduate business education or MBA.
- SAP functional training.
