The Senior BTP Consultant leads implementation activities to ensure successful deployment of SAP BTP solutions across Rizing’s industries. They have a strong background in SAP technologies and experience working with BTP. They bridge client requirements with available BTP services to create robust and innovative applications.

Essential Functions

  • Leads and analyzes client’s business and technical requirements in order to deliver successful components of the overall solution.
  • Understands SAP BTP architectures and scenarios.
  • Serves as a lead for client workshops, specific to their BTP and industry experience. Captures requirements, makes recommendations and proposes options for the solution.
  • Contributes to project planning and scoping activities to ensure successful implementations.
  • Completes go-live and cutover activities pertinent to their area of delivery.
  • Support BD and LOB's as required, to provide expertise input for RFQ and SOW.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in using Agile and DevOps methodologies with SAP BTP implementations.
  • Understand best practice usage of SAP BTP services in alignment with SAP's guidelines.
  • Aware of major SAP BTP trends and changes in processes, tools and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with an emphasis in Computer Systems or in specific industry curriculum such as Engineering, Finance/Economics, or other applicable business area.
  • Possess 5 years of industry experience or IT functional expertise, with specific experience through full lifecycle SAP project implementations and extensive SAP EAM configuration experience.

  • Advanced understanding of many areas of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP technologies and services).
  • Able to contribute to BTP-related topics (developments, guidelines, etc.) in a DevOps and/or agile environment.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, with the ability to implement resolutions.
  • Ability to manage deliverables and timelines with success.
  • Ability to attentively listen and effectively communicate in oral and written format with clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead various initiatives as required.
  • Must have completed more than one third of the certification learning journey.

  • Works in a professional office and/or remote office environment.
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, monitor, phones, and headsets. May also use white boards and/or virtual meeting rooms.
