Senior Solution Advisor - SAP Public Cloud Midmarket

Exciting opportunity to join the Public Cloud Midmarket team.  Work within the Business Development team in pre-sales activities providing S/4 Finance solution expertise.  Provide technical input to clients considering S/4 Public Cloud solution#

Essential Functions

  • Lead SAP Finance consultant on high-priority shorter term projects and value assessments
  • Assist in Finance pre-sales activities (RFP responses, Client Discovery, Demo Preparation and Delivery)
  • Finance quality assurance on longer-term projects
  • Work with Product Team and Delivery Team to drive improvements in intellectual property, finance solutions, industry-specific solutions and delivery capabilities
  • Assist in design of Finance enhancements and/or extensions to standard SAP using latest SAP technologies
  • Act as liaison with functional and technical staff to find creative solutions to complex problems
  • Working with cross functional SAP team members on integrated designs
  • Maintain documentation and updates; analyze lessons learned and share knowledge with team members
  • Provide functional and architectural guidance to teams designing leading edge solutions in the Finance space
  • Develop long-lasting, value-based customer relationships by providing unparalleled customer service and solutions acumen

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP experience in both FI and CO with Central Finance experience
  • Senior level expertise across SAP FI/CO sub-modules including GL, AP, AR, Credit Management, CCA, PCA, PA, Product Costing, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Consolidations, Planning/Forecasting
  • Minimum 5 full life cycle implementations of SAP, two as Finance lead on projects
  • Experience with S/4HANA Public Cloud and Fit-to-Standard approach or proven experience implementing SAP best practices
  • Understanding of the data flows from SAP/Non-SAP systems to S/4HANA & Central Finance System
  • Designed and implemented Finance solutions that include integrations with other SAP modules and external systems
  • Understanding of SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise that includes practical knowledge, training and/or experience with BTP
  • Experience with data conversion tools like Migration Cockpit, setting up batch jobs and output configuration
  • Understanding of the end-to-end processes 
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud SAC and FP&A a plus
  • SAP certifications a plus
  • Excellent communication and management consulting skills
