To complement the growth in our business we look to engage an SAP EAM Senior Consultant with a focus on PPM/PS will be ideally based in one of the east coast of Australia’s major cities as this role will involve interstate travel across Australia (dependent on travel restrictions).
The role of Senior Consultant will work with customers and operates as a senior individual contributor by leading implementation activities, to ensure successful deployment of Enterprise Asset Management business functions across various asset-intensive industries.
Deliverables
This role will be required to share their time between delivering work on clients’ projects, training and further developing the internal capability at Rizing EAM. Specifically, the role requires the ability to:
Manage Solutions:
- Lead the collection of business requirements, analysis, and design and build processes in the SAP PPM module.
- Analyse, compile, design, configure, test and manage SAP PPM technical and functional requirements and specification.
- Facilitate Business Process Modelling via SAP Solution Manager.
- Manage the identification, design, all testing and implementation of reports for SAP PPM
- Ensure all documentation, business processes, changes, configuration, updates and patches are done, maintained through and up to date in SAP Solution Manager.
- Liaise with our client’s stakeholders and other SAP module specialists to ensure integration within the project environment.
- Manage customizations or configuration of the SAP PS and PPM module.
- Determine and Implement reporting requirements.
- Provide support and technical advice to other SAP integrated modules.
- Ensure that all the business process permutations are covered by the Solution.
- Follow ASAP methodology.
Maintenance/Testing & Support
- Provide technological and functional services advice to our clients business.
- Manage issue/ problem escalation.
- Ensure stabilization of the solution.
- Version and patch management.
- Assist our clients to create and maintain test cases and test data.
- Conduct pre user testing.
- Manage structured user acceptance testing and ensure sign off.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with an emphasis in Computer Systems or in specific industry curriculum such as Engineering, Finance/Economics, or other applicable business area.
- Possess 5 plus years of industry experience or IT functional expertise, with specific experience through full lifecycle SAP project implementations and extensive SAP EAM configuration experience.
- 5 plus years SAP PPM customisation experience.
- EAM SAP Certification.
- Relevant experience with EAM technology platforms and key integration points.
- Experience in the Utilities/Energy sector.
- Dutch speaking desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- One of the primary applications for PPM is to provide an organisation with a single point of reference on the financial wellbeing of their entire portfolio of projects both current and projected.
- To perform the role adequately the individual must demonstrate a solid background and understanding of the following:
- Finance and accounting and able to understand the principles of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Business processes around the movement of a concept or idea through approval steps within an organisation. This can include authorisation and approval paths and project sponsorship to realisation.
- Strategic approach and goals of an organisation and how to identify how potential projects can be formulated to support and or deliver these strategic objectives.
- Project methodologies, e.g. Prince2, Six Sigma.
- Portfolio Management basics, including composition, prioritization, financial cost, resource & capacity management, integration.
- SAP Enterprise organisational structure basics such as Controlling Areas, Company Codes, Cost & Profit Centres and Plants
- Be across modules of controlling, finance, HR organizational structure, CATS time-sheeting, investment management & excel.
- Solid foundation in SAP Navigation / IMG, Net weaver Business Client.
- Experience working within a Project Management Office environment.
- A basic knowledge and understanding of Application Link Enabling (ALE), and Microsoft Project.
