Functions as a senior individual contributor by leading implementation activities, to ensure successful deployment of Enterprise Asset Management business functions across various asset-intensive industries. Identifies strategic and long-term solutions, bridging industry specific knowledge and technical solutions to establish best practices and enabling a sustainable business process and technology platform for our clients. Provides functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction of products to Consultants, Developers and Client Staff. May function as acting Project Manager or Principal Consultant, depending on the client and size of the project.

Essential Functions

  • Leads and analyzes client business and technical requirements, with a focus on Enterprise Asset Management business functions.
  • Serves as a lead for client workshops, specific to functional expertise; supports and organizes client workshops to capture requirements, design recommendations and potential solution options.
  • Completes process and software blueprint/design documentation and defines implementation strategies outlining short-term and long-term options for clients; this includes project planning and prototype development for client review and selection.
  • Completes solution specific configuration and technical design specifications to address client requirements;  outlines RICEFW functional specifications and key integration points to communicate expected end result to technical subject matter experts; configures system to meet design requirements.
  • Establishes test plans and a test execution strategy for project execution, in addition to data conversion activities as required.
  • Develops and maintains client relationships and collaborative team environments with internal colleagues and client business/IT staff.
  • Supports internal and external Project Management functions; may perform Project Management and Leadership responsibilities as per contract, with the expectation of managing project activities/teams and application of structured implementation project methodologies and tools.
  • Develops training materials and delivery strategy to end users, for overall client and end user adoption.
  • Supports business development efforts and provides expertise as requested.
  • Supports internal development of company initiatives.
  • Supports management of action log and risk/issue register to monitor project progress.
  • Supports project scoping efforts for new client requirements.
  • Prepares status updates by tracking time and expenses, to ensure timely system implementation.
  • Completes continuing education activities to attain and maintain professional certifications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions (Continued)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with an emphasis in Computer Systems or in specific industry curriculum such as Engineering, Finance/Economics, or other applicable business area.
  • Possess 5 plus years of industry experience or IT functional expertise, with specific experience through full lifecycle SAP project implementations and extensive SAP EAM configuration experience.
  • EAM SAP Certification.
  • Relevant experience with EAM technology platforms and key integration points.

Desired Qualifications

  • Career certifications as applicable (e.g. PMP, ITAM / CAMP, CRISC, Six Sigma).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Advanced understanding of Maintenance best-practices across multiple asset types.
  • Advanced functional knowledge of Maintenance, Inventory management and related Business Processes, with related SAP EAM supporting capabilities.
  • Expert knowledge of industry specific and leading technology solutions, specific to SAP and other key integration points.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced professional knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management best-practices.
  • Ability to manage and execute through each phase of the IT project lifecycle.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and articulate ideas to various audiences, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and actively support Principal Consultants and Team Leaders; lead and mentor project team members as required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead various initiatives as required.
  • Ability to support other critical functions outside of standard IT Project implementations, such as Client Assessments, Health Checks, Asset Management Standards (ISO55000), Roadmap and Proof of Concept Development, Business Process Development/Optimization, and ROI Value Realization.
