Global People Operations Lead

The Global People Operations Lead is responsible for creating seamless experiences across the People journey for our talented employees and managers in the region through the effective and consistent coordination, implementation  and continuous improvement of HR business processes, functions and procedures. The role will manage the regional people operations team, will have a global role and will be part of the People Leadership Team for Rizing.

Essential Functions

  • Manages the people operations function globally, supporting them to deliver high-quality, responsive and partnership-focused services to our internal customers. Manages all people operational tasks to ensure compliance, and supports audits as needed.
  • Optimizes daily activities and performance through continuous improvement.
  • Creates, implements and maintains responsive, compliant and high-quality global frameworks, policies, processes, procedures and tools to support Rizing’s people.
  • Responsible for ensuring policies, contracts and procedures are reviewed, maintained, consulted/trained on, communicated and followed to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Responsible for ensuring all people operations content (intranet, training, documents, policies, processes, procedures, templates etc.) is reviewed and refreshed on at least an annual basis.
  • Responsible for ensuring people processes, tools, documents, procedures, and reporting are optimized and maintained across the people journey and systems.
  • Responsible for global onboarding programs, content and execution to support new starters to Rizing and those transitioning into new roles, working in conjunction with our recruiting and learning & development teams as needed.

  • Works closely with the Global People Business Partners, IT, finance, payroll 
  • Responsible for ensuring the regional people operations teams partners with the finance and payroll teams to ensure payroll deadlines are met and payroll data is accurately captured for the pay run.
  • Ensures our HR systems and tools (e.g. SuccessFactors) are kept up-to-date with changes to employee and position information, and timely reporting is provided to business stakeholders.
  • Ensures training is provided to employees and managers on people operations procedures and tools.


Essential Functions (Continued)

  • Manages stakeholder expectations with employees, managers and third parties, and promptly addresses customer satisfaction concerns.
  • Acts as a point of escalation to resolve employee/manager issues, providing regular communication on status, performing root cause analyses, and implementing changes to ensure the issue does not recur.
  • Manages applicable third-party vendor relationships.
  • Drives execution of Rizing’s annual event management for goals, performance, compensation, etc. globally.
  • Manages the total rewards function to develop and implement benefits and compensation packages across Rizing, ensuring benefits enrollment processes are well managed and compensation frameworks are implemented across Rizing.
  • Ensures engaging and up-to-date information is available on our corporate intranet portal to support employees and managers.
  • Ensures compliant, responsive, and high-quality global frameworks, policies, processes and procedures are in place for immigration and global mobility, supported by regional execution from the people operations teams.
  • Key player for driving adoption of DEI and culture initiatives.
  • Responsible for designing and implementing wellbeing initiatives.
  • Works collaboratively with the Global People Business Partners.
  • Manages responses on diverse social networks in collaboration with the Global People Business Partners.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
  • Experience working in an HR operations management role.
  • Experience in managing a global HR team.
  • Experience in continuous process improvement.

Desired Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR or related discipline.
  • HR Certification (SHRM CP, CRRA, CIPD Level 3 or above, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working in a people operations team, with a track record of managing day-to-day people operation tasks.
  • Experience working in a regional role covering multiple countries.
  • Previous experience working in a global professional services firm.
  • Previous line-management experience.
  • Experience using SuccessFactors.
  • Knowledge of employment law and practices.

Work Environment and Special Consideration

  • Works within a professional office and/or remote environment.
  • Works in a global setting, sometimes requiring domestic and international travel, and working outside of regular business hours to accommodate stakeholders in multiple timezones.
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, printers/scanners, and telephone applications.
