Description
The OCM Instructional Designer is responsible for the development of all aspects of the Training Documentation / Training Materials supporting all development including, Instructor Guides, Participant Guides, Work Instructions leveraging a scripting tool, System Demonstrations and Exercises, Job Aids / Help Cards, module / course assessments, day-in-the-life scenarios, and training environment testing. Additional responsibilities include the support of all Train-the-Trainer delivery and knowledge transfer activities plus Classroom Training Delivery facilitation. Additional experience in data creation, LMS testing, User Support build and Training Materials QA highly desirable.
Essential Functions
- Key experience required includes:
- SAP R/3, SAPS4 Hanna, SAP Fiori – Experience in developing training materials in a multiple phase SAP program focusing on SAP R/3, SAP S4 Hana, or SAP Fiori.
- Training Scripting Tools – Thorough experience in utilizing Learning Scripting tools such as SAP Enable Now, Ancile uPerform, and Oracle UPK to generate parent-to-child recordings in the production of End-User training materials.
- Training Content Development – Manage and track all training content development through to weekly management reporting analytics.
- LMS Testing – Understand scorm compliant-based training content and Learning Management System (LMS) testing and deployment
- User-support landscape & website development – Understanding and integration of user-support and post go-live support sites supporting refresher training delivery and ongoing education.
- Train-the-Training Program – Support the delivery of the Train-the-Trainer program and various training delivery support activities through the knowledge transfer of courseware to client resources.

- E-Learning Development – Thorough understanding of E-Learning storyboarding, metrics, development, and hosting of all E-Learning courseware. Focus on specific courseware development such as Captivate, Articulate, Authorware, etc.
- Training Delivery – Successful facilitation of End-User training delivery and completion metrics.
- User Support – Contribute to the user support activities focusing on user adoption and user readiness.
- Build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and networking in professional organizations, including contributing to the OCM Training artifact library and intellectual property.
- Deep understanding of business processes, project management methodologies and leading learning practices.
- Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal response.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- • A minimum of five years of relevant work experience related to OCM SAP Training Development and Instructional Design, with two plus years of experience in advisory services within a major consulting firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline from an accredited college/university; MBA or an advanced degree from an accredited college/university is preferred.
• Experience leveraging SAP Enable Now, Ancile uPerform, or Oracle UPK tools to develop parent-to-child documentation and simulations supporting SAP work products.
• A minimum of 3-5 years relevant SAP / ERP module-specific experience
o Master Data Governance (MDG)

o Inventory Management (IM) / Inventory to Delivery / Distribution Center

o FICA (FI, FI-AR, SD integration)
• Experience leveraging MS Office 365 suite including PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft tools to develop training materials and structure information.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Must be able to travel 80%-100% per week
