The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of a project in terms of scope, deliverables, timeline, budget, customer satisfaction and project team satisfaction. A Level 1 Project Manager will typically be deployed on a large scale, complex project or multiple small-scale projects.

Essential Functions
• Responsible for the implementation of a SAP solution at a given customer site, within the scope, time and budget (All deliverables with high quality and customer satisfaction) – i.e. Oversees overall management of the project.
• As a Program Leader:
- Lead the project following the aIR methodology.
- Prepare the detailed project plans for all project phases.
- Ensure that the terms of the SOW are met.
- Establish and enforce governance for Issues Management, Change Request Management, and the Project Meeting Cadence.
- Provide leadership by establishing processes for the internal and customer teams to follow for all project activities. Works closely with the customer’s Project Management.
- Conduct weekly project team and monthly/periodic Steering Committee meetings and prepare or provide support in the preparation of Steering Meeting presentations as well as meeting minutes.
- Lead, guide and motivate the project team. Drive results, provide appropriate support for the team when needed and involve Rizing management if required.
- Work closely with consulting/development resources for smooth functioning of project activities.
- Make clear the roles and responsibilities of the internal and customer project teams and ensure output and results from both customer and consultant teams.
- Resolve internal/customer issues without affecting the project timelines, delivery plans, etc.
- Report exception/problems and concerns to the Rizing management and Customer Management.
- Where required, prepare weekly progress reports and circulate as to Rizing and customer management teams.
- Prepare monthly budget versus actual report.
Have a rational view of various situations in the project and be sensitive to customer needs, bearing in mind the conflicting requirements that a customer team would demand, and the delivery capabilities of the project team.
• Communicate and stay in touch with the Senior Management of the Customer Organization with regards to the progress of the project and gain acceptance and support for the rapid implementation of the project according to the terms of the SOW.
• Ensure the process of knowledge transfer to the customer team is effective and timely.
• Perform any additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when required by the management.

Required Qualifications
• General degree or equivalent/recognized professional qualifications.
• At least 8 years prior work experience in Project Management or at least 8 years of SAP functional experience and industry knowledge with proven track record of project management skills.
• min 6 complete project lifecycles in a SAP Project Management capacity
• Exposure to Fashion or CI in a working capacity for at least 5 yrs.
• Lateral knowledge of SAP modules would be advantageous.
• Formal training/certification in Project Management.
