For candidates based in the Netherlands, Rizing EAM, is looking for a Business Development Manager to support its growth in the implementation of SAP solutions to asset-intensive industries.

Essential Functions

  • Creates and closes new business deals by understanding customer need; developing and negotiating contracts;
  • Identifies and proposes potential business deals by managing partners, discovering and exploring direct opportunities
  • Qualifies potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by evaluating integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations

Required Qualifications

  • Strong business knowledge in combination with SAP Enterprise Asset Management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; including proven relationship building and listening skills.
  • Entrepreneurial skills and market-oriented.
  • Hybrid hunter and farmer mentality; ability to clearly articulate value propositions tostakeholders
    Proven and established track record of developing business in a Software and Professional Services environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Additional post-graduate business education or MBA.
  • SAP Functional Training.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Advanced industry knowledge and the application of that knowledge across (SAP)Enterprise Asset Management solution offerings
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
  • Good functional knowledge of an area of the business related to Projects, Maintenance, Supply Chain, etc. which allows confident communication and effective design of propositions
  • Good understanding of finance, the consulting industry and profitability
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodology, to include planning, schedule development, scope management and cost management.

Work Environment and Special Consideration

  • Extensive travel required which may include traveling across borders of other countries.
  • Works in a professional office and/or remote office environment. 
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and scanners.
